Moon is an abstract painting from the Borders series, an ongoing exploration of inner and outer thresholds — emotional, psychological, and perceptual. The work reflects a moment of quiet tension, where movement and stillness meet at the edge of change.
Layered textures and restrained contrasts create a subtle sense of depth, evoking an inner landscape shaped by reflection and transition. Rather than depicting the moon as an object, the painting… suggests its presence as a state: cyclical, introspective, and slightly distant. The composition invites the viewer to pause and observe what exists between clarity and uncertainty.
As part of the Borders series, Moon explores the fragile lines we cross when letting go of familiar identities and stepping into the unknown. The abstract language allows for a deeply personal reading, making the work less about interpretation and more about recognition.

She believes that painting is energy and her main objective is to infuse each piece with "divine light", acting as a channeler. Bilous' expressive and vivid landscapes, abstracts, and figurative compositions are created using oils on handmade linen canvases.
