About this artwork
The large version of the smaller work "Metamorphosis". In this wonderful format, the design comes into its own. In this work, too, the theme is the metamorphosis of man to nature, in this case flowers, or the recapture of human presence through nature, which in this work makes the theme of today clear in a positive implementation. In any case, it is a beautiful symbiosis - human-flower-human. And the beauty of both outshines each other. The colorful… flowers almost explode due to the background of this blue-gray shade, a festival of colors, so to speak! Nevertheless, a hinted portrait is quite recognizable and it penetrates the flowers again and covers them with a light gray veil. The parts that are exposed in their wonderful colors and "dance" around the person vibrate all the more. This overall composition is wonderfully neutral and yet joyful, light and colorful.
« Painting is my freedom, my passion, my love, my life. »
Ute Bivona is an experienced German painter who has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. As a child, she often felt abandoned and alone and fled into the magical world of colors, painting, drawing and reading to feel better. Through her lively abstract compositions, she tries to express her moods, thoughts, fears, hopes, sadness and joy and to take the viewer into her joyful, peaceful and, above all, colorful world.
