The painter repeatedly visits with her camera gardens and parks with their ponds and plants to get her inspiration to paint landscape and natur.
In the painting "The Blue Tree" the focus is on towering trees, some only vaguely painted and they move into the background. This picture shows a transparent landscape, light, diffuse, not solid, despite the painted trees. To begin the canvas was painted with a soft yellow and light blue background. Some… of these first layers of color can still be seen in the finished artwork and give the painting depth. The underpaintings are both monochrome and very colorful. Bright blue tones and various yellow and green variants of acrylic paint, mostly applied in a watercolor impression, alternate in this artwork. With this choice of colors and motifs, the artist wanted to show a peaceful space with a lot of light, where you might want to linger for a while.
