About this artwork
In this piece, I explored the quiet interplay of light and shadow, capturing a fleeting moment of stillness. Using oil, I blended soft, cool tones to evoke a calm, introspective mood. The semi-abstract forms of the shadows invite viewers to feel the gentle energy of solitude and reflection. As in many other cases, this painting's title is based on a rock-song from my youth. In this case "Shadow on the wall", by Mike Oldfield & Roger Chapman (1983)
