Equilibrium stands for equality (Aequus) and Libra (Libra).
I created this sculpture in such a way that the three tubes seem to be hanging in the air and are not at all fixed relative to one another. However, this is a misleading impression. The ends of these pipes are stretched with nylon cables so that the entire physical system is in equilibrium. This means that all parts are movable and with the slightest deformation from the outside, the structure… itself returns to its original state.
You have to see it for yourself! It seems magical! But that's exactly how the human body is built on this principle.
This sculpture is incredibly versatile. It can be attached from all sides and at the same time looks different every time. It can also be hung on the wall or hung from the ceiling.
