The Silent Exegesis
Concept: A meditative sculpture exploring the superiority of intuition over rational knowledge. The cat figure, enthroned atop a stack of tomes, acts as a metaphysical guardian of hidden meanings. The composition is based on the compelling contrast between the strict geometry of the base and a flowing, S-shaped silhouette.
Visual analysis: The MDF core is masterfully finished with an antique bronze patina and verdigris oxidation.… The surface is crisscrossed with intricate engravings reminiscent of ancient manuscripts. A deliberate interplay of volume and void softens the monumentality of the form, making the object the intellectual centerpiece of the room. Ideal for private libraries or modern studies; accent lighting is recommended to highlight the deep tactile relief.
« I paint because it is what I do best and it defines who I am. »
