« I revive the essence of true painting, where words and ideas take a backseat. »
Pakistan artist Ammama Malik states her work as "painting for the sake of painting". Her exquisitely detailed pieces take inspiration from the paintings of the Renaissance and Baroque eras. The influence of these classic periods, and the way it translates into her work, causes her art to stand out in a sea of modern artworks. Malik has shown her work in exhibitions in Dubai and her native Pakistan.
