About this artwork
The work is based on creating certain emotions in a viewer. Through my paintings I try to awaken a sense of drama and romance, taking inspiration from old masters and their work. With the help of lighting, drapery and the expressions on the model’s face, each painting is given a certain mood. Each piece is a conversation with the viewer where some details are given and others assumed.
