« My work is an attempt to suggest possible ways of being. It is a self conscious offering of answers while knowing that answers do not exist. »
Established American artistic Blake Brasher favors a messy, colorful and abstruct style of painting to offer his viewers alternative explanations into possible ways of being. Not satified with conventional explanations of why things are how they are, Blake's vibrant and sometimes brashy works provide a place for meditative thought, or, ideally, no thought at all.
Blake has honed his artistic talents through a number of residencies both in his native America and Europe. His works have featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the United States.
