Boaz Gabai

Boaz Gabai is a painter and digital artist with roots in both classical and contemporary practices, trained at Bezalel Academy and further refined through academic studies in Tel Aviv. His work fuses painterly, handcrafted digital painting and traditional oil pastel, employing a unique interplay between abstraction and realism, spontaneity and obsessive detail. Through landscapes, portraits, and cartographies, he explores the tensions between nature and the human-made, conveying a multi-layered sense of wonder, psychological depth, and the poignant transience of human experience.
