Cécile Roberfroid is a French-American painter with a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and master’s degrees in Art Therapy from Columbia University and NYU. Working primarily in oil, her intuitive process involves layered techniques and unconventional tools to build rich textures and visual depth. Her paintings pulse with spontaneous marks and hidden histories, capturing the quiet tensions and vulnerabilities of daily life. Through abstraction, Cécile creates a powerful emotional space—inviting reflection, connection, and resonance.
