Working as both a painter and a sculptor, Hauge assembles mixed media art pieces with reclaimed found objects such as wood, burlap, and canvas. With the intention of producing unique artworks with the most original wood he can find, Hauge then layers acrylic, pastel, or crayon on top of the assembled surfaces, resulting in new hybrid forms.
