About this artwork
Jannis Kounellis inspired wood wall sculpture. Old repurposed wood and mixture of cement and oil paint giving it a solid feel and old world look. Used with simple found materials including, wood and cement. Mixed media acrylic, oil paint, encaustic and custom made basic brown frame. This wall sculpture can hang vertically or horizontally.

David Hauge is an established artist from the United States whose work has been exhibited nationally. Working as both a painter and a sculptor, Hauge assembles mixed media art pieces with reclaimed found objects such as wood, burlap, and canvas. With the intention of producing unique artworks with the most original wood he can find, Hauge then layers acrylic, pastel, or crayon on top of the assembled surfaces, resulting in new hybrid forms.
