Dorothée DUCARN

Dorothée Ducarn, a self-taught painter, illustrator, and sculptor, draws her inspiration from a family of artists and favors clay, although she is also skilled in working with paper, wood, stone, and metal. She sculpts animals realistically and creates faithful reproductions of ancient art, while also offering original works with clean, stylized lines. Through her sculptures, she sensitively conveys a profound tribute to animals, especially endangered and misunderstood ones, awakening feelings of empathy and respect in the viewer.
