About this artwork
I recreated an archer from the Terracotta Army of China. The armor and headdress are reproduced identically, but the face is an original creation.

Dorothée Ducarn, a self-taught painter, illustrator, and sculptor, draws her inspiration from a family of artists and favors clay, although she is also skilled in working with paper, wood, stone, and metal. She sculpts animals realistically and creates faithful reproductions of ancient art, while also offering original works with clean, stylized lines.
