Eva Zinke

Eva Zinke works with acrylic paints on used coffee sacks, bringing her cultural background as a self-taught artist and graduate of the Städel Evening School to bear. She uses jute as a canvas, blending abstract and realistic painting, and incorporating the original prints from the sacks into her works. Her art speaks of the working and living conditions in coffee-growing countries and powerfully conveys empathy, curiosity, and respect for other cultures.
