Eva Zinke, born in Offenbach am Main in 1949, lives and works as a visual artist in Frankfurt. After training at the Städel evening school and numerous further education courses, she developed a distinctive visual language that combines painting, drawing, and photography. Her works on jute and coffee sacks are particularly well-known, in which material structure, global trade routes, and poetic color compositions merge into atmospheric visual worlds.
Since the 1990s, she has presented her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Germany and abroad, including in Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Mainz, Landshut, and Braunschweig. Eva Zinke is a member of the BBK Frankfurt (Professional Association of Visual Artists) as well as several art associations and is actively involved in the regional art scene.
