« The sculptures designed as 'rough subtleties' are fleeting encounters of everyday life, plants, landscapes and people. »
Georg Janthur is a prizewinning sculptor whose work is featured in permanent public and private collections worldwide. His works, made with wood, terracotta and bronze are figurative renditions of fruits, vegetables and various discarded objects, often mechanical in nature. Janthur's artworks transforms elements of his immediate surroundings into a symbiosis that is not romantic, but equally mysterious and alluring.
