About this artwork
The basis of the onlookers are sketches of encounters between people who meet me on my way through life.
The individual small, fine figures are roughly carved out with a chainsaw, so-called 'rough subtleties' have emerged. Due to their posture and color, they offer the viewer enough leeway for interpretations regarding their own, actual encounters.
Old oak fence posts were used as material.
