Gerti Papesch is an experienced artist who is guided by unusual color combinations in nature. The power and unity of nature and its cycles are at the center of her work. In the dialogue between the secrets of nature and artistic design, she finds connections that are not immediately visible. She is very much inspired by its diversity and phenomena, so that works full of liveliness and passion emerge. Her pictures are created in a work process that progresses across many layers. She uses different materials and multifaceted painting techniques to describe moments abstractly or to reinforce pictorial statements. Her works show an experimentation with natural forms, the expression of which reminds the viewer of their own nature and allows them to feel it.
