Ginny Togrye is an American artist who looks to explore the idea of portals and mystifying what lies beyond any given domain. With her background in sculpting, the results of her methods are akin to a frieze on the canvas. Her obsession and experimentation with textures means that you may see thick globs of paint, paint chips, or rolled paint skins in her work.
