Jean Soyer is an artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Belgium and Japan. He describes his works and inspiration as being based on the energy that we all have within us. Soyer translates breath, freedom of gesture, and "letting go", influenced by the Chinese Masters of calligraphy. His bold lyrical abstract compositions are mostly created using oils on canvas.
