« My work explores my feelings about finding comfort in revealing my faith, Judaism. I hope that my artwork helps everyone feel more comfortable in expressing who they really are. »
Kate Hendrickson is an American draftsman whose works have been widely exhibited on a national level. Her abstract compositions both explore and reconcile feelings of discomfort in revealing Judaism, the faith she has chosen. Through her pieces, she hopes to help everyone feel more comfortable with proudly expressing who they really are. Creating with pastels, graphite, and colored pencils, Hendrickson also adds Hebrew words that are connected to urban and natural environments in her paintings.
