Michele Chapin is a dedicated sculptor with a childhood fondness for rocks and organic forms. Using free association or free carving techniques, she carefully crafts sensual and colorful artefacts, challenging the rigidity of stone. Her works are alive with motion, texture, and color, imploring viewers to engage through touch and rotation, emitting an intricate dance of sensuality and connection.
