France
Mikel Richard, a self-taught painter and landscape architect by training, works primarily with acrylic on canvas, sometimes incorporating texture pastes and hot glue. His technique oscillates between the figurative, the symbolic, the mythological, the abstract, and surrealism, creating a dialogue between reliefs, materials, and dreamlike landscapes. He invites the viewer to rediscover the sense of wonder, dreams, and serenity, seeking to awaken wisdom and amazement, and to offer everyone an escape from the everyday, a true nourishment for the soul.
