More than two decades ago, Franziska and Mercedes Welte began their artistic collaboration in a small attic studio—driven by intuition, discipline, and a clear vision. From this emerged NONOS: a fusion of form and color into a distinctive contemporary visual language.
What began with early sculptural works evolved into a focused body of work with strong international relevance. Their practice units movement, lightness, and structural precision—positioned between sculpture, painting, and spatial experience.
Today, NONOS is present in international exhibitions, including the Biennale Arte Venice and Art Basel Week Miami. Their works speak a universal language and are valued by collectors, architects, and curators worldwide.
