Olga Nikitina is a contemporary artist known for expressive oil paintings that explore the energy, movement, and beauty of the natural world. Using a palette knife and bold impasto techniques, she creates richly textured works inspired by the ocean, marine life, African landscapes, and flowers.

A pioneer in underwater painting, Nikitina's artistic vision was shaped by her years as a scuba diving instructor in Egypt's Red Sea, where she developed a deep connection with the underwater world. Today, living in South Africa, she draws inspiration from its dramatic landscapes, diverse wildlife, and spectacular Sardine Run.

Her vibrant compositions combine colour, texture, and dynamic movement to capture the emotional essence of nature. Through her art, Nikitina invites viewers to reconnect with the natural world and reflect on the importance of preserving its beauty for future generations.
