« Every picture is like a birth. The idea arises from within and grows until it forces its way into the daylight. »
Regina Thyssen is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist based in Austria whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and Spain. She cites nature, farm animals, and landscapes as being the central inspirations for her works. As such, Thyssen views her artistic practice as being inextricalbly linked to the earth, her environment, and her experiences. She most often creates with oils and pastels on canvas or paper.
