I am a seasoned painter with an MA in Fine Art from UAL London, primarily uses oil on canvas and heavy art paper, enriched by decades of experience as a creative in the London advertising world. His work employs narrative-driven imagery with social and political undertones, characterised by humour, irony, ambiguity, and quiet visual tension rather than overt statements. My art invites viewers into open-ended interpretation, conveying a blend of subtle wit and reflective ambiguity, encouraging emotional discovery and personal resonance.
A lifelong commitment to Art, I spent 6 formative years in formal art training in the 1960's, laying the foundation for a lifetime of visual storytelling. . 45 years in advertising as an artist, followed by an MA in Fine Art Printmaking, at Camberwell School of Art, refining my art practice, graduating 2009. 10 years devoted to developing my painting, until I was satisfied as to the standard of my work-born of discipline & purpose.
