Romeo De Meva, an Ivorian painter, has transformed his unusual career path into a remarkable artistic rise. A self-taught artist who rose to prominence during the pandemic, he adopts a vibrant abstract style blending spirituality, resilience, and symbolism. His works, charged with emotion and depth, have taken him from Abidjan to major international stages: Paris, Venice, Vienna, Munich, New York… In New York, he exhibits alongside Pablo Picasso, Henry Matisse, and Jon Miró. Founder of the Susanoo Foundation, he combines art and social impact through the MEV'ART 3.0 competition and solidarity projects. A multi-award-winning artist, he embodies a new generation of visionary, committed, and forward-looking African artists.
