His work celebrates the beauty of resurrection, decay, and life after death. Hendrie believes that the collective energy of the materials creates a specific "healing vibe". Most of the materials he employs are born from the natural world, such as skulls, shells, crystals, feathers, wood, and metal, to name a few.
