About this artwork
Jacobite is a piece that pays homage to the struggle of the Jacobite's finally ending at the battle of Culloden 1746 the last battle fought on British soil.
The stags head is painted with iron paint and then rusted with the antlers entwined with barbed wire portraying the struggle.
It also has a highland broach of Cairngorm mounted in the centre of the forehead and is mounted on a faux velvet reptile print studded plaque. Cairngorm was a crystal… that the Highlanders caried into battle for protection and good luck.
