Sylvia Lessig, who grew up in her father's artist's house and suffered from mental health challenges, uses watercolors, which she can work with excellently despite her tremor. Her unique style is a blend of expressionism and surrealism, characterized by a multifaceted layering that creates depth and color intensity. Her art reflects her intense emotions; she gives equal expression to personal suffering and radiant joy, often embodied in her passionately painted female faces and happy-looking animals.
