Xenia Burn

Xenia, a Ukrainian-born artist based in Poland, started her journey in fashion photography, collaborating with fashion houses and agencies in Ukraine and China. Seeking deeper expression, she moved to abstract art, initially experimenting with watercolors. A self-taught artist, she now uses mixed media in a style shaped by Informalism, Deconstructivism, and Abstract Impressionism.
Xenia’s work explores emotions, trauma, identity, and the blurred line between conscious and unconscious. Through layering and subdued colors, often incorporating translucent paper, she adds depth and mystery. Her deconstructed forms mirror the fragmented human experience, inviting viewers into introspection and emotional connection.
