About this artwork
In this work, I explore the themes of identity and inner vulnerability. The face appears only fragmentarily, partially hidden behind dark layers and flowing lines. For me, these overlays symbolize thoughts, memories, and emotions that lie like veils over the self.
I deliberately work with strong contrasts and reduced color palettes to create tension between visibility and concealment. The drips represent the uncontrollable, feelings that cannot… be fully ordered or restrained.
The work invites us to look beyond the surface and reflect on our own inner states. It is a quiet exploration of what we reveal and what we keep to ourselves.
