About this artwork
Bronze sculpture made by me in a single copy in 1988: no other copies exist.
The sculpture has participated in several art exhibitions held in Italy.
It can also be placed outdoors, in a swimming pool or fountain, but also inside an apartment, since the base has the shape of the water from which the woman emerges.
In this image of a woman, there is a desire for rebirth, for life. Her hair falls on her body and in the water with wave-like movements.…
Even in this work there is a theme dear to me which is that of the harmony between a smooth complexion and a wavy movement which, in this case, is double: both in the hair and in the water which forms the base from which the woman seems to emerge (Awakening).
