About this artwork
A work made using the outlines of the graffiti I painted in the early 2000s on regional trains in Spain, called "Cercanias". I arranged the outlines so that they formed a spherical and concentric shape, to obtain the effect of an explosion of letters and colors. A mix of the graffiti I painted on the carriages, remixed with a graphic style that transformed the letters into geometric shapes in yellow, orange and red tones and others forming part of…
the background around the letters, in shades of blue. Although not in primary colors, this is a graphic effect of the decomposition of spaces that is inspired by the works of Piet Mondrian, to merge the graffiti style with the style of neoplasticism.
