In this work, I sought to create a dialogue between the material and spiritual worlds. On the left, a casually dressed modern figure embodies everyday life and earthly concerns. On the right, the depiction of a meditating Buddhist monk symbolizes inner peace and metaphysical quest. The use of acrylic reinforces the contrasts, not only in the colors but also in the themes explored. This painting… illustrates the duality of our existence and invites reflection on the path to inner harmony.

Aldéhy is an award-winning painter and draftsman based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Port Villa, the United States, Belgium, Italy, Hungary, and England.
