In this work, I sought to merge the past and the present, embodying a timeless encounter. The contrast of modern clothing with traditional garb highlights a conversation between eras. Using acrylics to capture the intensity of expressions and the depth of gazes, my painting invites reflection on the continuing influence of ideas throughout time. It is a piece that will bring reflection and character… to your space.

Aldéhy is an award-winning painter and draftsman based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Port Villa, the United States, Belgium, Italy, Hungary, and England. His thematic and narrative compositions tell stories like comic strips, narrating a beginning and an end. Aldéhy's diverse compositions are created using acrylics, oils, pastels, charcoal, and India ink on paper, canvas, wood, or synthetic board.
