In my sculpture, I explore the theme of connectivity in the modern age, blending acrylic, resin, wood, and reclaimed objects to symbolize the chaotic, often disjointed nature of digital communication. The raw textures and technological relics serve as metaphors for the tension between the organic and the artificial, reflecting how our interactions are increasingly mediated through screens and signals.
A notable element within the composition is… the presence of remote control clickers, objects that embody both the power and distance inherent in digital connectivity. These devices act as symbolic conduits, representing how we navigate relationships, information, and even emotions with the mere press of a button, yet often remain disconnected from genuine, tactile experiences.
This artwork invites viewers to reflect on the paradox of digital intimacy—a closeness achieved through technology that is simultaneously fragile and impersonal.

Aleks Rosenberg is a multi-disciplinary artist and filmmaker who resides in the United States and has exhibited and sold his works internationally. He received his BFA from Pratt Institute and MFA from Yale University School of Art. The central themes found in his works relate to the 'outside looking in' and the 'sun will always come up tomorrow'. For Rosenberg, there has always been tension between darkness and light, and as such, his compositions seek to find a balance between the two extremes. Working through series, he uses contrasting found or repurposed materials to leave clues for stories to be told.
