About this artwork
Division is a work where sculptor explores possibilities that are offered by using two different materials: aluminium and epoxy resin. Organic aluminium acts in a very natural fashion, while the same mirrored movement is very minimal, and the cut is almost surgically precise.

Alem Korkut is an experienced Croatian sculptor who has exhibited his work internationally, including in Germany, Switzerland and Slovenia. His driving philosophy is centered on the idea that everything is perpetually in flux; nothing is fixed or abides by set rules. Korkut predominately creates aluminium reliefs, and hopes for each viewer to join him as he observes, listens and marvels.
