The gentle movement of the water and the distant roll of a wave create a peaceful rhythm, while the small figures of two dog-walkers and their dog highlight the vastness of the sea and the fleeting beauty of an early sunset.
Blending Impressionism with subtle realism, I aimed to evoke peaceful… reflection and the raw beauty of the sea, celebrating the calming presence of water and the timeless pull of the ocean. This piece brings a soothing coastal energy and a sense of endless possibility, offering tranquility and a moment’s escape to any space.
Techniques used - various, from sfumato to impasto, brushes and pallet knifes, so it is a slightly textured painting.
