In this artwork, I sought to capture the magical and fascinating moment when the sun meets the ocean, spreading its reviving light all over the sky and water. I employed an impressionistic approach to blend realism with a touch of the ethereal, using traditional multi-layered technique to create depth and impressionistic impasto to add texture. The luminous sky,… with its soft, golden hues, compliments range of emerald colours of the vast ocean, evoking a sense of renewal and endless possibilities. This painting is a homage to the quiet moments of beauty that grace our everyday lives, encouraging a meditative calm in any space it inhabits.
