« I'm passionate about everything I choose to do in life, so I keep on burning the fuel of creativity to feed the flame in my heart. »
Alessandro D'Agostini is a Brazilian photographer and draftsman who resides in the United States. Within his works, he translates the colorful imagery of Brazilian folklore to politically critique social inequality. D'Agostini’s creative process involves the use of varied materials such as cut stained glass, ceramic tile, marble, and Italian Smalti. He begins with a design of geometric shapes, cuts each piece to fit the pattern, glues them together on wood, then seals the composition using cement grout.
