About this artwork
This design is a visual synthesis of two worlds that have profoundly influenced me:
my fascination with anime aesthetics and a summer design I created in 2003 during my training at the fashion academy.
Originally conceived as a fashion concept, the work deliberately pushes the boundaries of wearability. The graphic structures, vibrant colors, and fragmented forms reference the expressive visual language of anime, while the cut, body emphasis,… and posture clearly originate from the fashion world.
In its transfer to the canvas, the design breaks free from functional constraints and becomes a free vision – a reminder of fashion as an idea, not as a product.
