About this artwork
"Equilibrio" is perhaps the work of mine that more than any other directly describes with images the concept that underlies my art, that is, the union between Woman and the Universe.
The female figure rising above the primordial chaos brings order to the spheres floating in the cosmos and creates balance in that which will give birth to life (the spheres symbolize the various celestial bodies). The sphere is a symbol of perfection, the Woman and… the Universe of creation.
