Alex Saman is a game artist and game designer for daytime video games, and he spends his night life painting pictures. His paintings are inspired by surrealism, video games and street art. They represent dreamlike worlds with shimmering colors, populated by sprawling monsters, industrial chimeras and organic… colossi. All his paintings are painted mainly with acrylic for walls, and rarely with oil, mixed with other secret techniques, on wooden panels recovered in the street.
His influences are surrealism, video game culture, street art, fantasy, myths and legends.

Fascinated by video game design and digital creation since the age of 14, Alex Saman eventually developed a desire to escape the screen and create more concrete, tangible art. Primarily painting acrylic on wood, he composes intriguing visual universes marked by shimmering colours, mythical creatures and a unique marriage between real and virtual.
