About this artwork
Raw and restrained, Soul J holds a kind of emotional geometry — where lines don’t divide, but connect. Rooted in minimalism yet full of warmth, the painting reflects the architecture of inner space: the corners we return to, the windows we open within ourselves. Light pulses subtly through layers of muted color, each stroke deliberate, like a word left unsaid. This work is not just to be viewed, but to be felt — like a room filled with silence and… sunlight. A quiet reminder that clarity comes not from noise, but from still design.
My journey as an artist began over 10 years ago with studying architecture — lots of sketching, painting, and drawing. Later, I started creating just for myself, and that’s when the idea of balance became central to my work. Nature, with its textures and details, became a major inspiration. Looking closely at a tree, I see a whole universe in its structure — rooted, grounded, yet able to withstand storms. This reflection led me to believe that we, too, must find balance within: emotions, thoughts, and meaning. In a fast-moving world, we need to pause and reconnect with that inner balance. This idea gave birth to the two main directions in my art.
