About this artwork
Shallow Pool is one of a series of smaller paintings on wood panels, created alongside the larger canvases in my Abstract Coastal Collection. This series explores the feeling of being by the sea in different weather conditions. The paintings feature colours, shapes and other abstracted elements derived from long walks along a shingle beach on the South Coast of England.
