About this artwork
Depth is an exploration of the quiet, immersive pull of the inner world. Painted in layered shades of blue and white, the work creates a sense of moving toward a luminous center, as if the viewer is drawn through water, sky, or the unseen space of the soul. The swirling brushstrokes evoke both motion and stillness. They suggest a moment of descent into something vast and mysterious, yet peaceful. This piece invites contemplation and offers a gentle…
reminder that true clarity often lies beneath the surface, waiting to be discovered.

Credentials
- Works on commission
Alla Ditla is an artist with an extensive background in theology and sociology, trained in iconography, art therapy, and religious studies.
She blends traditional techniques—like egg tempera and gold leaf in icon painting—with expressive abstraction, digital experimentation, and innovative mixed-media practices.
Her art layers spiritual symbolism and meditative forms, fusing Byzantine, Christian, and Eastern influences into a dynamic synthesis of tradition and modernity.
Each of her works radiates contemplative harmony and evokes a serene sense of renewal, guiding viewers inward toward clarity and compassion.
