About this artwork
Having found this vintage brooch in a car boot sale, i instantly knew that it had to be the focal point of this piece. Looking at its vibrant green colour i felt an aura of protection and the idea of a third eye. I wanted to compliment its brightness by adding a contrasting background colour that was just as vibrant, so that when the viewer looks at it they are mesmorised.
